Welcome to Troop 3143

At Troop 3143, we create leaders. Our troop provides a program for young people that build character, train them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

We are very active in the outdoors and in the community. We camp monthly, including a full week of summer camp and some of the older scouts will have the opportunity to backpack for two weeks in New Mexico. Our camps are filled with fun and activities including rafting, skiing, hiking are a few to name.

Eagle Court of Honor

Posted on May 16 2021 - 8:51pm

Congratulations to 20 scouts who obtained the rank of Eagle during the past year!  In the true scouting spirit, you all persevered when life threw a major cure ball that no one expected or knew how it would affect the world.  You were all able to make the necessary adjustments to plans and schedules.  You found ways to complete requirements, badges, and projects with new constraints and restrictions.  You supported each other on your projects.  You all exhibited what it takes to be a scout and demonstrated truly living by the scout oath and law to help each other with your service projects and in achieving the rank of Eagle.  I think this class of Eagles has a special bond.  As some of you head off on the next big adventure in life, I hope you stay in touch with each other and the Troop.  And if you are staying around, we would love for you to stay active in the Troop, supporting the younger scouts as they advance trough the ranks as they also work towards achieving the rank of Eagle.  Again, Congratulations from all of the leaders of Troop 3143 on this great accomplishment.
